Sorry, but yet again real life is getting in the way of my blogging, so I doubt if I can add any gems of wisdom to the blog this week. But you might like to know I have a piece in The Pink Humanist (see http://issuu.com/infidel69/docs/pink_humanist_summer_2015 ) arguing that neo-puritans are outdoing religious fanatics in their attempts to clamp down on anyone having fun, or just acting on their own initiative instead of being told what to do.
As I wrote my article some time ago, it is nice to see others coming to similar conclusions more recently (see, for example https://cfrankdavis.wordpress.com/2015/06/10/the-emerging-new-state-religion/ ) . It is even nicer to see the great Douglas Murray in the latest Spectator making much the same argument about the NHS (see http://www.spectator.co.uk/features/9547992/doctors-orders/ ). So, if I am out of step with liberal opinion, at least I am in good company.
